Mutual Aid Agreement
Help and FAQ
Greetings! The Texas Division of Emergency Management has added the capability for you to manage your Mutual Aid Agreements through the PreparingTexas.org portal. You will be able to submit the basic information on the parties involved and upload all documents pertaining to the agreement. You should submit a separate entry for each Mutual Aid Agreement you have.
Chapter 418 Texas Government Code
Once you submit your agreement(s), they will be set to a "Pending" status for review by TDEM personnel, then either Approved or Denied based on the information you submitted. By having your Mutual Aid Agreements stored on the PreparingTexas portal, you will be able to view and/or retrieve the documents you uploaded at any point in the future - as well as allowing for TDEM personnel to assist you by knowing what agreements you have in place!
